Water eats colour. This puts it back.

Every underwater clip you've shot on a GoPro or a phone housing has the same problem: ten metres down, everything is blue. Red is the first wavelength the water absorbs, then orange, then yellow. Post-production filters can fake some of it back, but you cannot recover colour the sensor never received. The only real fix is to carry your own light.

The Seafrogs delivers 2000 lumens from a compact aluminium-alloy and polycarbonate body rated to 60 metres. White for true colour on reef and wreck. Red for approaching skittish marine life without spooking it. Blue for fluorescence work at night. Strong, low, and SOS modes on each.

It ships as a complete rig, not just a lamp: hot shoe base and 1/4" ball head so it mounts to a GoPro tray, a housing arm, or a standard tripod thread, plus a beam tube for tightening the spread and a soft cover for the trip home. The 1100mAh cell charges over USB.

At 114g and roughly the size of a golf ball, it adds almost nothing to a travel kit — which matters when you're already fighting a dive bag weight limit.
